While we strive to ensure accuracy and reliability, we make no guarantees or warranties of any kind—express or implied—regarding the completeness, accuracy, suitability, or availability of any information or services provided.

All product design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations are based on industry knowledge, available information, and client instructions.
Performance outcomes, manufacturing results, and market success cannot be guaranteed.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Our Services

Atelite Design provides professional product design services, including but not limited to:

  • Product and industrial design

  • Concept development and ideation

  • Prototyping and testing

  • Design strategy and consultation

  • CAD modeling and development support

All service details will be defined in a written proposal or contract prior to starting work.

 

2. Project Scope & Changes

Each project includes a clearly defined scope, timeline, and deliverables.
Any changes to the agreed scope—such as additional revisions, expanded features, or new design directions—may incur additional fees, which will be quoted before proceeding.

 

3. Fees & Payment

  • All fees are outlined in the official proposal or invoice.

  • A deposit may be required before work begins.

  • Final deliverables are released only after full payment has been received.

  • Late or missed payments may result in project delays or additional charges.

 

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • All preliminary sketches, drafts, concepts, and design explorations remain the intellectual property of Atelite Design.

  • Full rights to final deliverables transfer to you only upon full payment.

  • Atelite Design retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, website, or promotional materials unless a confidentiality agreement has been signed.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate information necessary for the project

  • Supply any required materials with appropriate usage rights

  • Review designs, provide feedback, and approve deliverables in a timely manner

Atelite Design is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or delayed client information or approvals.

 

6. Prototypes & Manufacturing

While Atelite Design provides design and development expertise, third-party manufacturing outcomes are beyond our control.
We are not liable for:

  • Production or tooling errors

  • Material inconsistencies

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Issues arising after transferring files to external manufacturers

Support for manufacturing coordination can be provided upon request.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

Atelite Design is not liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Misuse of design assets outside their intended purpose

Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project.

 

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public or proprietary information shared during the project.
Portfolio use will exclude confidential materials unless written permission is granted.

 

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the project with written notice.
You are responsible for payment of work completed up to the termination date, including any allocated resources or expenses.

 

10. Changes to Terms

Atelite Design may update these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms take effect immediately upon posting.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country/Region].
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Location].
